Factors that may affect accuracy include:

• Poor image quality, low resolution scans, or partially visible documents
• Unusual document formatting or non-standard terminology used by the lease provider
• Missing figures or information not visible in the uploaded document
• AI misreading of numbers, dates, or financial terms
• Changes in market rates or benchmarks since our data was last updated

You should always cross-check all figures in the analysis against your original lease document before relying on them.

3. Interest Rate Calculations

Where the effective interest rate is stated on your lease document, LeaseLens reads and reports that figure. Where it is not stated, LeaseLens estimates the effective interest rate using the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) method.

The IRR calculation is a mathematical estimation based on the figures extracted from your document (principal, monthly payments, residual value, and lease term). This estimate:

• Is only as accurate as the input figures extracted from the document
• May not account for all fees, charges, or non-standard payment structures
• Is presented as an approximation and clearly labelled as such in the results
• Should not be treated as a definitive statement of the interest rate charged by your lease provider

Always request a written disclosure of the interest rate directly from your lease provider if it is not already stated in your quote.

4. Tax and FBT Estimates

Any estimates of tax savings, income tax reductions, or FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax) benefits shown in the analysis are based on general assumptions and the information visible in your document. These estimates:

• Are based on your salary as stated in or inferred from the document
• Do not account for your individual tax position, deductions, or other income
• Do not account for changes in FBT legislation, which are subject to amendment by the Australian Government
• May not reflect your employer's specific salary packaging arrangements or caps

• Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in the analysis
• Any financial decision made based on information provided by LeaseLens
• Any failure of the service to be available or to function correctly

If you are not comfortable accepting these limitations, please do not use LeaseLens.

7. Privacy and Data

LeaseLens does not store, retain, or log your uploaded documents or analysis results. Documents are transmitted securely to an AI processing service for analysis and are not retained after your session ends.

LeaseLens does not collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, by emailing us). We do not sell or share any user data with third parties.

By uploading a document, you confirm that you are authorised to share its contents and that doing so does not breach any confidentiality obligations you may have.

8. Independence

LeaseLens is independently operated and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or in any commercial relationship with any novated lease provider, salary packaging company, car dealer, financial institution, or employer.

We do not receive referral fees, commissions, or any other form of compensation from any third party in connection with the analysis or recommendations provided by this service.
